Jakub Tkaczyk
I’m a fullstack AI engineer at Tooploox (part of Solvd). I like building software that works, is secure and feels right - I’ll usually follow a thing from the first rough idea all the way to the last pixel.
My home turf is the backend and agentic systems, but I never let go of the frontend. It’s where magic happens. I’ll sweat a hover state or an animation long after the thing technically works, because people can feel when you cared. It’s the experience they remember.
Projects
- Muscle Up is a local-first coaching platform for tracking strength progress in calisthenics and street lifting. Stays instant, works with no signal.
- AI Agents run my daily logistics across planning, chores, calendars, and digests, so I don’t have to check five apps.
- Home Lab is a self-hosted Raspberry Pi cluster running apps (and agents), so my data stays home.
Now
It brings me a lot of joy to build and manage apps end-to-end. Recently I’ve been focusing on AI agent automations in products to take the boring work off people’s plates. I care how a thing feels as much as whether (and how well) it runs. The security aspect is part of that. I’ll say so when something’s off instead of shipping it anyway.
What suits me is exploring, shaping the problem, having the space to think, reason, and propose the solution instead of just resolving a ticket.
Away from the keyboard I train street lifting (weighted calisthenics) which is muscle-ups, pull-ups, dips and squats with lots of weight. Structured planning is the key to progress, so I built the app for it.
